Hi

I have just bought a D-Link DI-614+ Wireless router.
I have installed it, and I can connect to it from my labtop (wireless).

Now, every once in a while I set up a ftp server on my labtop, so that I can
connects to my labtop from work.

I have a static IP adress from my ISP.

If I connect my labtop directly to cable modem (not using the D-Link router)
everyone can connect to my ftp server.

But the when I let my labtop connect to the router and the router to the
cable modem, no one can connects to my ftp server.

I have configured my router to have the static IP adress from my ISP.
I have made a firewall rule on the router saying:

Name: ftp server
Action: Allow
Active: Yes
Source: WAN, *
Destination: LAN, 192.168.0.100
Protocol: TCP,21
Schedule: Always

Also I have changed the virtuel server "Virtuel Server FTP" to forward
everything to 192.168.0.100

Still nothing comes to my ftp server.

Anyone having a similar problem ?

Regards

Michael

I upgraded my firmware to version 2.18 (from 2.03).
Now everything works.
