I have not personally used the DI-524, but have used the 514 and 624 and
have had no problems with them, after upgrading the firmware that is. I have
seen alot of complaints about the 524, but almost half of them have been
solved by firmware upgrades, and about another15 to 20 percent were just
configuration problems by the user. Hope your next one work better for you.
