D-Link DI-514 question

Does anybody know if the D-Link Air DI-514 can be used just as a wireless
hub without an Internet connection ?

I need to get wireless networking for a small off site office that currently
has no phone line and will be at least 6 weeks before lines are installed
but I need the network running now.

If it's a router with dhcp then yes, it should work just fine.

They dont specifically mention it in the manual, but it should work if you
do this:

- plug the 514 into your lan using one of the LAN ports, not the wan port
- turn dhcp OFF on the 514
- the 514 will now act only as a hub...
