I have this switch and it supports trunking.

If I'm understanding this correctly, I could potentially trunk the two
ports coming from my backup server at the switch... would this
essentially double the bandwidth of that connection?

Anyone know how this is done on the switch.. under trunking I see ID
01, then a bunch of members.. say 1-8, then ID-2.. members 9-16.. etc
(up to the 48th member/port).

If my ports going into the switch were say 7,8.. would i just enable
ID01 which as members 1-8 (and check off 7,8).. what does this do
exactly? How does my server's dual ports become "one" with one ip
address?

Thanks
