D-Link DCS-950g Camera

I bought the D-Link IP Camera DCS-950g and here are my comments:





Nice picture when it is running but the worst piece of software I have seen
in my life ( firmware V1.02)- I am working on computers for 25 years :



1 Very difficult to setup some times the menus are working other not, even
with a direct TCP-IP connection without wireless.

2- The motion it just not working , the camera sends picture to an email
when the software wants not when there is movement in front and the image is
bad .

3- It is not a 0,5 lux camera when the lights goes down it is dark.

4- Using IE6 thru internet it doesn't work "stack overflow" but using the
local TCP-IP address direct is ok

5- Very instable going to reset a lot of times

6- The nightshot option blows up the image



Have you heard if there will be a new firmware version???





Stay away of DCS-950G D-Link camera, till D-Link not coming with a real
fixed software release
