Have this wired router and made the mistake of upgrading the firmware from
1.41 to 1.43. Within a couple of days, my download and upload speeds, from
Charter cable; dropped in half. Coincidence? D-Link support only messed with
the MTU readings in the router. Was set at 1500 but tech changed to around
1422 (don't recall exact number). Not much help on the speeds. Any ideas
where to look in the router for help before I contact my ISP? Thanks, Steve
T.

No other changes after the firmware upgrade? Recently upgraded same
router here and no noticeable change whatsoever. Did have a problem
that I couldn't track down when first installing that router that
resulted in slower speeds. Switched back and forth with and without
and suddenly things were good. But no idea what I did (or perhaps
didn't do).

Hi Steve,

Looks like 1422 is just too low a value. The connection have to retransmit
twise as many packages. Try to set it back to 1500.

My regards Søren
