D-Link 604, Redhat 7.2

I am trying to get a D-Link 604 running under Redhat 7.2. ifconfig
shows only lo. I have been running under Win98SE and Netscape 7.2
without problems, but I can't seem to get up and running under Redhat.
There is no linux driver in the distribution CD for 604, and the D-Link
website says they have no driver for Linux and 604.

Source of a driver and other other suggestions would be welcome.

What kernel are you running with that? The D-link card is supported by
kernel versions >= 2.4.18. My D-link card came with kernel 2.4.18 on
the install disk. There is also a helpful README file on the D-link
install disk in the linux subdirectory. The README has a lot of
pertinent info to walk a newbie through compiling and installing a new
kernel.
btw, I'm partial to D-link just because they are so helpful to the linux
community.
