just converted from isdn to DSL - here is my problem

in order to get the d-link 300t to connect through my router I had to set
the d-link 614+ to get the DHCP automatically - no problem their everything
works fine (can connect wired and wireless) - my problem starts when I try
to use the d-link 800ap+ in repeater mode (large house - former abbey - 3ft
thick walls) set the MAC address to the routers MAC address (as I did when
I used isdn and everything worked fine) but no luck - all the lights glow
etc. but no wireless connection through the 800AP+ - the 800 is set by
default to static IP - tried changing it to DHCP still no luck - tried
setting it to the 300 MAC address - no luck - could this be caused by the
router being set to auto DHCP (which it has to with to 300t) - anybody HELP!

Have you tried plugging into a PC and changing to wireless client mode.
Once working in this mode, change to repeater mode. It should retain the
settings and work.
