Yes thanks, I didn't know about such smart <web2?> restrictions that
stuff is only available "FROM" the approved client.
Operating from 3rd-world with an expensive dial-up, which disconnected after
11 minutes & 28% of the file [at 3 am local] means I can't use eg. curl
to continue getting the rest of the file. So it's perhaps not doable.
I just give this long explanation to show how smart-arse web-2 systems
can have unintended consequences.
Or is this where proxy-servers come in ?
==================
Perhaps 'opera' which started the d/l can continue.
I'll see if the saved file's size increases.
But I'd prefer to be able to use something like curl, which is good
for continuing a d/l; except that this URL apparently only works
if it's 'called from'
http://code.google.com/p/acme-sac/downloads/list
Apart from waiting for the rainy-season to finish, so that my dial-up
doesn't abort, how can I solve this d/l problem?
== TIA.
