Hay NG!

I installed CUPS on my linux-server (suse).
I want to print on windows-workstations which have printers connected on the
parallel port.
if the workstation is up - printing does well !

but if the workstation is down and a printing job is sent to this
workstation the job in the queue is lost after 5 minutes. I know there is
the timeoutvalue in the cupsd.conf of 300 seconds (=5 minutes ;-) ) .

but now my question: is it possible that the jobs will not be deleted for a
few days (weekend) and on monday if the workstation is up it will get
printed!
i think it is possible to set the timeoutvalue to more than 300 seconds but
what happens if the workstation will be down for 1 week or longer. I only
want that the job should stay in the queue !!!

thx for your answers

Paul
