Purchased MN-700 a couple of weeks ago (before learning MS was dumping
network hardware). I keep getting a bubble urging me to download and
install subject update. This I have done, twice, and each time two of three
updates, including firmware update, "fail" to install. The update bubble
keeps popping up and I keep checking "Remind me in 7 days," which it ignores
and pops up again within hours. I tried to install on my other, older
desktop and it just kept running the installation blue dots for HOURS, so I
simply aborted it. But again, those pesky reminder bubbles. I'd really
like to install the update, since it is supposedly "critical," or if I can't
succeed at that, get rid of the pesky bubbles. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Have you tried unplugging and then replugging the power cable of your MN-700
and then trying the update?
