Hi,
Is there a way to create a VPN connection through a policy or another
method? I was wondering if this is possible as I would like to roll it out to
users through SMS 2003 or set it as a policy so that it will be automatically
created when they log in?

Cheers,

Gareth

Gaz,
You could try this.
On a windows XP computer delete all VPN and dial up connections then
Create all the VPN connections you want to push out.
Windows creates a phone book in the following location: "C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk"
Its called Rasphone.pbk it contains all the VPN settings you created.
Rename it MyVPN.pbk or something doesn't really matter what providing its
extension is .pbk. Place it in a share and copy to the client’s pc with a
logon script.
If you want it to be global copy it to "%AllUsersProfile%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk"
or to the current users profile if not.
"%UserProfile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk"
Or you could create an MSI file with the phone book and push that out with
GPO or SMS.
Regards Wendel.
