Cox (or should I say Cocks) is running an open AP here in town and when
people try to connect they run P137-138 (when that doesn't work they try
to shift to alternate ports) exploit programs against them and try to
break into their computers and steal files. At first I thought it was
just a hacker or two, but now I see they are using the Router address to
hack into peoples systems as per my firewall logs. Have numerous
attempts to connect to file shares and other times they are shutting
down my radio (only works for a few seconds till I can restart). I think
it is the system admins for Cox that are doing this because they can
freely change their IPs in seconds and they finally resorted to using
the router address as a pathway to attack, when the other addresses were
blocked. I am getting and will be in a more sophisticated approach
getting back at them as I have the IPs of the offending AP and their
associated assigned individual computer IPs (you can change but you
cannot hide) I have all the time in the world to devote to this as I am
not working and have an independent income. You coxsuckers just wait, I
am coming for you.
