Hi,

I'm running a Windows 2003 Server colocated at my ISP with limited
free traffic. So I would like to monitor the traffic volume
transmitted over the lan interface to get an early warning and for
comparison with the ISP's counter.

I looked at the performance counters, but they all seam to measure
throughput and not total amount of data.

So I'm looking for a tool which could count the traffic and put the
result somewhere on file (as opposed to a tool with a gui), so that I
can use a script to mail daily/weekly results home and also warn at a
predefined amount.

Regards
Oliver

Try "netstat -e" from the command line.
