corrupted network config?

I have a server running W2K SP4 that I cannot edit the properties of any
network card on. When I right-click and select properties, the interface
simply crashes and the following is generated in the App log:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Winlogon
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1002
Date: 8/2/2006
Time: 9:48:58 AM
User: N/A
Computer: BrokenServer
Description:
The shell stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.exe was restarted.

In addition, when attempting to use netsh to view the properties of the
card, I get the following error:

"Error obtaining configuration for interface Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit
Ethernet Adapter - PCI slot 2."

The card is responding fine on the network, but I can't edit it's properties
through any conventional methods I know of. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I am having the same issue on one of my 2000 SP4 servers. Did you find a fix
for this?
Thanks,
Chris
