I have read that if you have a cordless phone that is 2.4
gigahertz 2.4 GHZ that you could have problems with your
wireless network.

This is exactly what is happening when the phone rings I
am ok but if I answer it I lose my wireless conection so I
know that it is the problem of the cordless phone.

I read somewhere that I could try to change setting on the
wireless basestation and that this could correct the
problem. The problem is that I need to use the phone
while I work. If I went to a cheep hardwired phone it
defets the purpace of being wireless.

Go to the base station using a web browser at 192.168.2.1
and change the wireless channel (try with channels 1 and
11 -- since original setting is 6 and 1 and 11 don't
overlap channel 6).

If this does not work, you may consider replacing the
wireless phone by one that works outside the 2.4Ghz range.

I spoke to some of the other guys in the office and they
overcame the issue by:
If your MN-700 is set to Channel 6 and your Cordless 2.4
can be set to the further range from 6. Example - 25
channel 2.4 phone - set your phone to channel 25.

It has helped for them. I have a 2.4 and can have a
conversation clear as day and drop from 54 to 48Mbs.

Hope this helps you

Try different channels on both the phone (go way high, if you can) and on
the base station. The 2.4's will cause problems, but you may be able to get
each signal far enough away from the other to make it work. Otherwise, I'm
running a couple 5.8 Ghz phones here now, and have no problem with any lost
signals.
