No that's not what I mean. Sorry for the confusion, I put the wrong
option in my previous posts. What I'm saying is that if the
permissions on say \\server\test was setup to give you full control.
So you can copy, paste, modify, and delete. You can still be blocked
from running programs if the clients pc has some funky settings in
Internet Explorer. The setting is particular is:
Launching Applications and Unsafe Files
If that's set to disabled, then you aren't going to be able to
use .exe, .msi, and other applications. I just created a test folder
and gave myself full control on the security tab and also the share
tab. Then I added my server name to the trusted sites zone, as
described above. Changed this setting and I'm blocked from running
this application. If I change it back, I'm in the game.
