My boss installed a special air conditioning system to cool just the server
room, and runs it no higher than 72 degrees F.
So, I guess we are a "source" ;-)
Googling for "recommended server room temperature" comes up with many hits:

| Know of resources on server room cooling? Basically I'm trying to
convince
| my boss that running all our servers, switches, routers, surveillance, etc
at
| 85 degrees F is a bad idea, and that he needs to spring for more A/C
| capacity. I'm looking for anything to put together a good business case.
| Whitepapers, sites, etc. Obviously I've tried googling this, but I
haven't
| found much. Studies showing evidence of effects of heat would be ideal.
| Thanks.
