w2k/DC/AD/SP4. 10 workstations, I attempted to install the SAV Corp Edit 9
on my network. Using my XP Pro as the center. Tried to install the server
client on the Server.I believe I didn't get all of V7.5 of Norton out, I am
guessing. Anyway, the win installer just hangs and the hourglass spins. Same
if I try to uninstall PC anywhere? And worst yet, now the "network and
dialup applet" used of course to view the adapters, connections etc just
spins and spins.I have to use Task Mgr to end any of these operations. Any
help. please, or just point me towards some relevant info. I have searched
far and wide and cannot even find a scenario about the network applet.
Add/remove I found a bunch. Try to re:register the msiexec or reinstall it.
It must have something to do with symantec, but as we all know they are NO
help at all. Help me out guys and gals, will ya?
