I've got 2 computers (192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.3) connected to a
router (192.168.0.1). For seom reason though XP often cuts off the .0.3
computer saying thers been an IP conflict. Whats this mean, how can i
sort it out?

Are they statically set or set via DHCP on the Router ?

If they are dynamically set via DHCP on the Router, examine the Router DHCP assignment log
and see what computers are being assigned.

Otherwise consider statically set the IP stack using higher numbers such as 192.168.0.10 ,
192.168.0.12 , 192.168.0.14, etc.

I'll bet you've got a d-link router. Correct or not?

i currently do use static IPs. I'll try setting them to higher values.
Maybe that'll work.
