Is the Internet connection through a router or a NAT server or a Proxy
server or what?
Can you ping that device? Does it have an ACL that prohibits connections
from the problem IP address or MAC address>
Does the problem machine have a DNS address? Can you ping machines on the
internet by IP - try 216.239.51.99 (which is
www.google.com)?
If you can ping machines by IP but not by name, then check the DNS server
settings.
Compare the settings on this machine to other machines on the network.
