connecton problem

Broadband connection works fine.I disconnected my Dial up
connection.
Now,ussually after a few minutes,Windows XP informs me
that a Cable is disconnected and refuses to let me go on
line.I have to reboot to get the Broadband connection to
work...My setting is for "Never dial a connection"
How Can I disable irritating message ?
