Hi all, I have provided a diragram to show my connection below...

#-----(

where:

# : BT wall socket
- : extention cable
( : ADSL Splitter with a dial up modem and an ADSL USB modem connected.

There is no telephone connected to this BT socket.

1) Will the ADSL modem work?
2) Will the dial-up still work on this method?
3) What effect will the extention cable have on speeds for ADSL - I connect
fine to dial up at 45.2kbps

Thanks
Domestos

None, as long as it's not totally knackered! Doesn't have to be high
quality or anything, just a standard one in good condition.

I think you need a couple of comma's in there, a dollar and a couple of
lower case p's.

Something like this should work:

#--------------,---$-------p-----(--------p
