I have a 2003 Server in a Workgroup environment with 8 XP Home computers that
need to connect to it. All the workstations need to connect to the server to
run a shared application that is running on that server. Everytime the
workstations are restarted the connection to the server needs to be
re-established and the workstations are always prompted for a password to log
back in to the server. I have one workstation that is never prompted to log
in, it just connects automatically. I am not sure how this is but I want all
the workstations to connect Automatically so they do not have to continue
entering passwords to connect to the server.
Can anyone offer any suggesttions.
Thanks.

Do you have the users setup on the server with passwords? Are the users on
the workstations setup with the same username and password? Are they all in
the same workgroup?

Enable the 'guest' account on the server - this is what XP tries to use by
default, but 2003 Server disables it by default.
Then when you share a folder, you must also permit 'guest' to it, with
either read access or full control as necessary.
