Connection Problem to the Access Point Allnet 0295 with allnet0192 from Toshiba Tecra 8200

Are there any known issuse using the above mentioned Hardware constallation?

I am not able to get these things to work. I tried it under windows xp and
windows 2000 with no success. The Problem is, that I get no Signal from the
Access Point (allnet 0295). If I configure the pcmcia-card to adhoc mode I
get a signal from the Access Point but ofcourse this is not the way it could
work.

If I try the wireless Card in a laptop of a friend everything works fine.

What can I do?
