Hi my wireless G internal laptop modem keeps bouncing off the network.
I know it is not the signal strength.
When I disable the network connection, and re-enable it, it is fine for
about 10 minutes.

Using WPA-PSK and TKIP.

When I was on wireless B ( on a different computer) I found that if "Enable
IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network" was checked,
The same bouncing would happen.

I can't uncheck "Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network" on my
Dell Truemobile 1300.

What is the real problem here?

You might want to check with Dell for the availability of a driver
update. I worked with a customer with Truemobile 1300s who experienced
success upon upgrading to 3.40.65.0 (also called utility version
66).

Aaron

I've had an occassional similar sounding problem with zero configuration in
XP. Try disabling zero configuration.
