The G3 has an AirPort card; it detects the MS Broadband
network but won't accept the password. I've tried the
password with another laptop (a Dell running XP) and it
works just fine. Any ideas?

Try a $ sign in front of the 128 bit HEX WEP key if your version of
Airport doesn't have a drop down explicitly for HEX.

Barb:

Will do. After posting this question I hit google groups
and file found a post from yours elsewhere that explained
this. I've emailed it off to the person who asked it
(family friend).

Thanks very much!
