Connecting a win 98 laptop to a 2003 server

i have a windows 2003 system running a peer to peer with
3 workstations. i would like to use a fourth station for
our laptop we bring into the feild. the problem is that
the laptop will not configure to find the local server to
connect to the internet or anything else. any help will
be appreciated.
