I have just purchased a wireless router (belkin) it has a ethernet socket to
connect to the modem. Problem is the mode I got with my broadband provider
is has a USB plug which obviously will not connect to the ethernet socket. I
wish to avoid purchasing a new ethernet modem. Does anyone know of a
connector which can connect a USB plug to a Ethernet socket. Ive done a
search on the net but the closest I got is a connector that can connect a
USB socket to an ethernet plug.

I use the word plug because I cant remember the right name, but I think you
know what I mean.

Ian

You would probably need to discuss this issue with your Internet Service
Provider. This newsgroup supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking hardware
and software, not the individual ISP setups.

Hi
I have just connected to broadband and it was recomended that we used an
ethernet connection, it just would not work connect, so the P.C. world sold
me a u.s.b. lead and my voyager box has a lead space for both ethernet and
u.s.b. I wonder if your problem is because it is a wirless broardband
connection.
Sorry if this in on the wrong track all together
