Connecting two centrino via wireless connection

I am trying to connect two Fujitsu laptops with Intel centrino process to
gather via a wireless link.

I have tried all of the connection wizards and they still cannot see each
other. I have also tried Barb Bowmans suggestions, though half of what was
asked could not be found due to a different system configuration.

In the advanced setting I have selected computer to computer setting
(ad-hoc) and they still cannot connect to each other.

Do I need to set them both to “roam� to find each other? Or does one need
to be the host?

Any suggestion on how I can link the two laptops together?

You need to install some type of wireless router.
