I hope someone can help me out on this...
Im trying to push files from a laptop running windows xp pro to a folder on
a windows 2003 server. The folder, and its parent folder permissions have
been set so that "everyone" and a particular user to have full control of
the share. I click on the security tab to set the particular user to have
full control on every option. The problem im running into is the laptop can
see the machine is sharing folders, but when you try to open the folder, you
are prompted with a message saying that i dont have permissions. Im not even
prompted for a username and password.
I can get around this by remote desktoping to the server, and taking the
files from the laptops share. But there are other admins who use remote
desktop so it makes it hard to use when the terminal sessions are full.
