I'm operating Windows small business server 2003 with all service packs
applied. All clients are windows XP professional, with all service packs
applied.
When I attempt to connect to the remote client desktops via either intranet
or internet, rather than connecting to the client workstations, the
connection is always made instead with the server desktop. A connection to
the server desktop ican be made properly; it is only when attempting to
connect to a client desktop workstation that the error occurs and the
connection is instead made to the server desktop. This phenomenon occurs
when attempting to connect to any of the several client workstations on the
network.
The network is a 10 workstation network with public IP addresses assigned by
the DHCP server in Windows small business server. The server and exchange
server are running on the same machine with only one network adapter
connected to both the intranet and the iternet through a linksys 16 port
switch and a Cisco router on a DSL line.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
