Have you tried the D-Link support page at
http://support.dlink.com/Products/vi...uctid=DSL-300G ?
Are you sure that the console port *is* a serial connection? If so, you'll
need not only to get the wiring right but also to configure with PC's serial
port with the right baud rate etc.
