Hello all,
Here is my problem:
I want to connect to my router (a DW-200 from inventel) with a D-Link DWL-122
under Ubuntu 6.06, so I use wifi-radar which can do this with a nice graphical
interface, I launch wifi-radar from the console, and tried to connect, and I
got the error message "Could not get IP adress" (or something alike), in the
console there was:
"Error for wireless request "Set ESSID" (8B1A) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.

Obviously there is an error: my network's ESSID name can't be set, but why?
PS: the drivers (linux-wlan-ng) should be well installed and I manage to connect
