Something has changed within my system and I don't
know what it might be, so I need your ideas.
The computers in question run 24/7; -1- runs Win98
orig and the other Win98SE. No changes to the BIOS
and/or other program settings have been manually
done.

In the usual boot scenario, once the Network logon
screen appears, one enters password and all the
mapped drives are reconnected and stay connected.

For the past week, occasionally, I will find that one
or the other computers will have the "Reconnect"
window displayed , wanting to know if the mapped
drives should be reconnected.

At first, I thought that the computers rebooted; however,
it should hang at the logon screen if that were the case.

So, under what conditions would the "Reconnect"
windows appear without rebooting and logging on ?????

thanks
ray

If the message start in-hot Win98 may be a temporal unplugged cable.
Otherwise can be an Antivirus activity or any spyware software that scan
network units. Go to www.microsoft.com/windows98 site and download the
IPFragm fix utility, a file called "259728SPA8.EXE" and the map utility
fix bug called "260067SPA8.EXE". There are on the download area.
Note: this files are Spanish version. There are several languaje
versions too.
