Well how you do this depends on the software you are running and the OS. In
general terms, you'll need to create the network manually rather than find
it. If you are familiar with your router the simplest thing to do would be
to enable SSID, and allow your new computer to find the network, once it
has, and is connected, then disable it again.
Otherwise you'll need the SSID name, and you'll need to enter this, as the
name of the wireless network you wish to connect to. Because your network is
hidden you can not discover it, to Join the network in the automatic way.
The other thing you'll need is the password for the network, and this
generally works best if it is in a "hex" format. This is especially true if
all the brands of the wireless equipment are not the same. You'll also need
to know the format of the Security, is it WEP, WPA, or WPA2. If security was
done correctly you'll also need to enter the MAC address of your NIC into
the Wireless Router's access list.
