Main office and remote office. Gateway to gateway VPN tunnel in operation.
Server at main office can ping PC's at remote office and vice versa.

The main office is on 192.168.0.x subnet and the remote office is on
192.168.3.x subnet.

No servers at remote office.

I want remote office PC's to connect to Exchange server at main office. When
I a new profile in Outlook and enter the server name and mailbox name I get
the following error:

The name could not be resolved. Server containing global address list is no
longer available.

I'm guessing I need to make an entry for each PC at the remote office in
DNS. Do I create a new host using the remote PC's LAN IP address? If not what
should I be doing?

You need to tell your pc's at the remote site to use the Main office dns
server. Can you ping the exchange server via ip?

run nslookup and try to resolve your exchange server using the FQDN. If it
doesnt resolve dns is the problem.
