I want to connect my DRV that has a rj45 to my wireless network...how to do
that.

I have a wireless access point near the DRV but this only have one RJ45 to
connect with the router.

Anyone have an idea of a solution that can connect with wireless from a
RJ45?

Regards,

Per

What's a DRV?!

Two options, either use a small hub and connect the AP and DRV(?) to
that, no wireless.

Add a wireless bridge device to the DRV.

David.

Thx for the reply.

DRV = Digital Video Recorder - this has a RJ45 connection.

Is it possible to connect the DRV with the Asus WL-300G one and only RJ45
port and use the ASUS to connect wireless to my wireless network? I this
just fantasy to do so?

I have spent time on this - so far without any luck!

Like I said, either connect it via wires to a hub connected to the AP or
use a wireless bridge.

Personally I wouldn't bother, streaming video over a LAN (if that's what
you want to do) is pretty high bandwidth and suits cables far better.

David.
