I have an MN700 set up and my laptop connected with little
problems. The signal is weak and I am trying to install a
second MN700 as a "bridge" to give me greater signal
strentgh downstairs in my home. Any help would be
appreciated.

From information I've gotten from Microsofts MVP's posts on these
newsgroups, the second MN-700 you want to use as an access point HAS to be
WIRED to the the MN-700 acting as a router. There's no way for it to extend
the signal wirelessly, I thought this could be done, it was kind of
disappointing but that's how technology is. If anyone has more info on this,
please do share.

Other vendors have technology that repeats wirelessly. In one of my
Expert Zone columns, I describe using WDS (wireless distribution
center) to do just this. The MS gear just doesn't support this
advanced function.
