Greetings all, I could really use some help here.

I have 2 Cayman 3546 routers in separate buildings with the safeharbour
ipsec feature enabled. The VPN tunnel is established and I can ping any
workstation on either network from any other workstation. However, every
attempt at file sharing, domain logins, or even seeing a computer that's on
one network from the other network has failed. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

The setup is as follows;

network1:
6 pc's running windows 98 connected together through a hub and the built in
hub in the router.

network2:
12 pc's running windows 98, one server running windows nt server, and one pc
running lynix acting as a dns server. Everything is connected through a
switch and internet access is handled directly through the router.

I'm wondering if the DNS server has anything to do with the problem. Also,
what benefit would a small network like this be getting from the DNS server?
Thanks.
