Hi there,
we need to map a directory on a Windows Server 2003 to a Windows NT
4.0embedded workstation. We can map the network drive, but when we try to
access the data on the drive we get the error message:
"Logon failure: the user has not been granted the required logon type at
this computer"
After waiting the time of 15 minutes we can access the drive (seemes to be
the time in autodisconnect on the Windows Server).
We tried allready to enable SMB signing in Windows NT as descibed in the
knowledge base with all possible combinations of:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Rdr\Paramet ers\
EnableSecuritySignature
RequireSecuritySignature
When these parameters on the Server
(HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServ er\Parameters\) are set
to zero, it works fine.
But that is not the solution, as the customer doesn't want us to do that.
Whe are using Windows NT embedded with Service Pack 5.
Any Ideas?
thanks,
Wolfgang
