How do you access a winXP client from a win98 client
using a workgroup - I believe there was a checkbox on the
win98 client somewhere in the "view files" that needed to
be checked or unchecked - please help - Thanks

Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on each computer to make all the
necessary network settings:

XP ICS - Starting the Network Setup Wizard

The winXP client should appear in Network Neighborhood on win98,
showing a "Shared Documents" folder and any other disks and folders
that you explicitly tell winXP to share.
