How to connect Win 98 to Win XP?

Hi,
This is my first time trying to connect a Windows 98
computer to the local network that the computer's at work
use. The host computer run's on Windows XP. When I try to
map the network drive from my Win98 computer, I cannot
find the correct path or drive. And when I browse my
network connections on the Windows XP computer, my Win 98
computer is not found.

My Win 98 computer has a name and uses the same workgroup
as the other Win 98 computer's on this network, so why
doesn't the host computer recognise it?
