I am trying to create a ODBC connection on a xp.
I have sql2008 sqlexpress installed on my another server which is on 64 bit
computer.

How do I get access to the sql2008 sqlexpress thru ODBC client?

Thanks

This question is better suited for the SQL newsgroups.

I crossposted it for you to microsoft.public.sqlserver.msde and
microsoft.public.sqlserver.odb.

If anyone from those two groups respond, the responses will also come back
here. Just check back here for responses or you can visit those groups and
start a fresh thread.

Create an ODBC Data Source using the odbcad32.exe program.
And review the connectivity tutorial at
