Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has been able to get Windows 2003 RRAS Service to
talk a Nortel Passport Switch through OSPF? I've installed RRAS with OSPF
and the only change in the default configuration is that I've removed the
default password on the interface under the OSPF protocol folder within
RRAS. The interface comes up as a Designated-Router on Windows 2003 but all
packets are rejected. On the Passport Switch side, the
BackupDesignatedRouter comes up as 0.0.0.0

Does anyone have any up to date information on OSPF for Windows 2003 Server?

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Everyone,

Solved my own problem. Microsoft RRAS does not like a blank password on the
OSPF setup so you must put one in. OSPF will let you blank out the password
but it will not work.

Thanks,
Brian
