Configuring linux for NAT on virtual machine

At work (custome) I have installed redhat8 as a virtual server on
windows 2000 and specified network address translation. The plan is to
allow the linux box to use the Windows 2000 connection for internet
communications. I'm really stumped as to how I can get it to work. Any
ideas ?

My current situation is this.

* IP address assigned manually (not using DHCP)
* Linux starts up ok
* Can ping linux virtual machine from windows 2000 host
* Can telnet, ftp to linux virtual machine from windows 2000 host

Still looking at configuration information. Will post more clues and
relevant configuration information as I find them.

Try to connect the linux machine with Win ICS -job
