Hi,

I have a server that I set up. It has two NIC cards which I have teamed
together to created a VLAN. The VLAN has the assigned static IP for the
server, while the two NIC's use DHCP. When setting up a DNS server,
it's complaining about the two NIC's having DHCP addresses. I don't see
why this is a problem because they are now teamed as one under the VLAN
with the static IP address. IS there a way to stop the warnings/errors
in the Event log?

FYI - these are two Broadcom cards using BASP. The physical cards don't
have TCP/IP option checked off anymore because the VLAN is now doing the
teramed work of both cards.

What I've done in the past is un-team them, set both with static IP configs,
then re-team.

Hi Ace,

But is that necessary? That's my question.

I haven't found any other way. Maybe someone else will respond with a better
suggestion.
