Anyone got any ideas because I`m quickly running out !

Following previous good advise on this newsgroup, downloaded manual & learnt
how to re-boot &
reset my 2nd user Access Point to factory defaults (Intel 5000 Pro Access
Point)

STILL can`t confirgure the access point via my browser using default
password & user name.

I`m using default IP & Subnet when unit isre-booted but can`t get access to
it.

Am I doing anything wrong ?

How do I do this ?? (ie.where do I find thesetting on my browser ?)

"Make sure that your browser is set to no proxy, I've seen that impact
getting to an AP?!"

It may be my answer !

Can you ping the Access Points ip from the machine your trying to access its
web service from ? If its a wireless PC load up your Wifi cards utility and
use the Access Point browser to locate your APs SSID and Channel then
connect to its default settings - as long as this PCs wifi card has an IP in
the same subnet as the default AP IP you should then have IP connectivity
and will be able to access the web service to configure further.

For Internet Explorer:
Tools
-Internet Options
--Connections
---LAN Settings

and uncheck the box for Proxy Server BUT make sure you write down anything
in the Address box first.

Also uncheck Config Script too!

Hope it works!
