How to configure two NICs for the internal network

Hi,

I have a server with three NICs (one for the Internet, one for the internal
network).
The third NIC was disabled already, and I would like to use the third NIC
for the internetal network. The problem is I haven't done it.
Can someone help me to setup these two NICs for the internal network? The
server is a file server, and all users get data files from the server.
Do I need a special switch for the NICs, or can I use a small8 ports gigabit
switch?
In addition, does it call brdiging or aggregation?
Please advice me!!

It's generally called 'teaming'. You'll have to check your NIC vendor
website and see if it's supported. If so they should have some software to
help configure it.
