Hi praveen,

My preference is to use Postfix rather than sendmail.

sendmail is more complex than postfix.

postfix is very easy to configure.

For any mail system, DNS is requirred.
so first setup DNS.
Than setup postfix.

visit http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com

It has full details about linux neteworking.

wishes.

T.Shrinivasan.

Then you'll first need to setup and configure Named. After that
you could get out with the standard configuration, just check if
sendmail is listening on all the IPs instead of just on the localhost
(option O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA in
sendmail.cf, remove the 'Addr' part)

See the documntation of sendmail for more options.
